Finished Cutting Our Cordwood

Today I finished bucking the cordwood for at least the house to be start this spring.  Since I love using a saw so no that bad and only to a few days of being able to work to get it done.  Here are some PICs of what the site looked like before and now what it looks like a after a few days of me and the cordwood saw.  (I havew saw dust in my vains and love it)

Hey all this is going to be a page devoted to the Kirby family homestead.  The registerd name of the farm is Whiskey Run.  Owen and operated by Chris Kirby and his wife Holly.  This blog will contain the things that we have learned and are doing on our road to becoming as self-sufficent as possiable and will also go over all things that we learn about "green" technology.  We are not tree huggers, just simple country people that for the most part believe that life was a whole lot better back around that 19 century.  We want to learn and educate people as much as possiable about living a slow and more rewarding life that does not destroy the plant that we live on and that allows a person to depend on them selves and not every one else.  I will be adding pics and more info very soon.
